I really enjoy the Dialogbox but think it needed some extra things and some bugs fixed too.

First of all I needed to do this:

1)I want to add ect. "Static box" and change the color of the static box?

Type: Frame
Rectangle - Color - Grey,black,white (Can you change this in the events editor? I can't find any expresions to do that)

2) Can you load/set a new picture in Dialogbox during Events editor?

3) Can you get a color Object to change the "static box" color?

Bugs:

1) If you select "buttons" the ALL STATIC TEXT turns to BLACK? Why? any workaround, seems that it never worked right from the beginning! (I can send you a picture!)

Expanded version:

There's so many things that could be added into this great extensions:

• Load pictures
• Be able to change a color during ect. (Static box)
• X and Y placement in Dialogbox

I have more Ideas...

Who had the code/extensions and be able to expand Dialogbox?

Be able to change the color from Static box at runtime is important e.g. for color settings in applications. That would be nice... I stumbled on this some times.

Dialogbox Bugs:

1) When "Buttons" is on - mess in Static text (see picture above or download it)

2) Combo Box - Condition : Has Focus (read more or click on Gustav link)

3) Frame - border - Resizing - (you can resize it bigger but not smaller than the original size?

Update in future Dialogbox version 1.1:

• Change the color from Static box at runtime (importent)
• Be able to change Buttons (Now BOTTOM) to (Top , Left, Right, Bottom)
• Change background color e.g. (tab index 1 = black, tab index 2 = red and so on.)
• X and Y positions for each object (it's very hard to place the items by the mouse.

Have you any new Ideas? Plz join us here, so CT can make us a new DialogBox 2009 version what ever..

1) I can't reproduce it, could you send me an example please?

3) Not a bug, it's by design. Just design your dialog box with the minimum size it can have.

I'll add the suggestions to the wish list if that hasn't been done already.

PS: about the X & Y positions in the dialog box editor, I never need that, you can move the controls with the arrow keys, resize them with the SHIFT key and adjust their size and position with the align / make same size features in the context menu.
