Iv'e found the project options in MMF2 ages ago which were never in TGF2 but after clicking them a bit nothing seems to actually be happening.

Lets you open and save multiple MMF2 documents at a time. Try it - open up a few different files and then use Save Project. That'll save them all at once. Close project will close them all at once and Open Project will... well, you can guess by now :P

Handy if you've got lots of different mfa's you need to work on

I think a project is all the applications you have opened. If you are working on more than one application, you can save the project. And when you open the project you saved, you open all the applications you are working on.

If you for example have 5 aplications opened and you want to close all the applications, you can just close the project.

Run Project Launches and Runs the First Application of your Project.

Run Application launches the Current Application.

The Notion of Projects
A project is a set of applications. For example, the first application could be the title of your multimedia presentation, the second the main pages, and the third one the conclusion. MMF provides you with a way of working easily with more than one application and allows the developer to keep related applications together.

To create a project, simply load your applications in the workspace toolbar, and choose the menu option "File/Save project" enter a name and click on OK. A new file will be created, with the "MFW" extension. Next time you use MMF, do not load individually each application, but load the "MFW" file: all the applications will be loaded automatically.
The first application displayed in the workspace toolbar is called the Main application: It is the first application to be run when you click on Run Project.
Projects are only present in Multimedia Fusion. From the Multimedia Fusion User's Manual.

[My opinion]
Which is another reason to buy the Multimedia Fusion version instead of The Games Factory 2.

This is how I like to use Projects, I like to build applications outside of a Project and then pull them into The project when I want to build the "whole" thing. It's safer for me to work on "PARTS" of a large application without worrying about corruption or problems arising. That way you can piece the Large project together and if a part gets damages you can just replace it, and not lose an entire application due to corruption.

I would always try the help documentation before posting on the forums, as it generally (not always but most of the time), will provide the information you are looking for.

Projects can be useful if you have lots of related MMF2 applications. For example you have a main game application, and then a level editor. Directly related, but separate applications would be inefficient to work with (in some ways).

I have a main game and a level editor for most of my works, the level editor is normally windowed & usually has a large Size, the main game app is normally full-screen & usually has a small resolution; so making them into a project might make one build into a vitalize app instead of an .exe.
